Welcome to your website! This website is for parents who have students who are considering enrollment or are currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
While most of our communications will be with your student, this site provides you with some of the general information we may be also sharing with your student. We urge you to keep the lines of communication open with your student as the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). limits the amount of information we can provide you.
Most of our communication with your student will be via their university email account so you may want to ask your student to share that information with you. We have attempted to answer the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) by parents with links in Hmong, English and Spanish on this page; however, if you have other questions, please contact our office.

The UW-Madison Parent Program
The Parent Program connects parents and families of UW–Madison students to the university so that they may support their student’s success. More information can be found at Parent Program. -
EdVest
With EdVest., you can open an account on behalf of a designated beneficiary. Your contributions are placed in a trust fund established by the State of Wisconsin and are directed into special investment portfolios designed and managed specifically for the program. The features of the EdVest college savings program make it easy to invest now and use later. -
Wisconsin Covenant
Students can sign the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge in spring of their 8th grade year. The goal of the Wisconsin Covenant is to make sure every young person knows that if he or she works hard, college will be an option for them. More information can be found at Wisconsin Covenant. -
